3 Gallon OPU-600 Polyurethane Crack Injection Foam – Expanding Water Sealant for Concrete & Waterproofing
Details
OPU-600 (3 Gallon) is a water-reactive polyurethane injection resin designed to instantly stop water ingress, even in seawater environments. This solvent-free waterproofing foam expands up to 40 times its volume to form a durable, closed-cell seal for concrete repair and leakage control. With its low viscosity for hairline crack injection and NSF/ANSI 61 approval for drinking water, this 3-gallon solution is ideal for high-performance foundation waterproofing and soil stabilization.

OPU-600 is a water-reactive, one-component polyurethane resin designed to stop water ingress, including seawater, in cracks. The resin is 100% solids and free of solvents. PU-W-STOP OPU-600 is a ready-to-use formulation that does not require additional catalysts. A phthalate-free formulation (F) is also available. PU-W-STOP OPU-600 is NSF/ANSI 61 Drinking Water Contact Approved.
Upon contact with moisture, OPU-600 reacts to form an expanding foam that can expand up to 30 to 40 times its initial volume, depending on the moisture content. The cured material maintains a constant volume and is not significantly affected by water or dryness. Since moisture is a key component of the reaction, the cured material is essentially stable and does not shrink or swell significantly.
Depending on the moisture content and injection pressure,OPU-600 can form a dense, closed-cell structure or a more open-cell, flexible product. For optimal sealing and waterproofing results, the closed-cell structure is preferred. OPU-600 is designed for sealing water leaks, stopping water ingress in cracks, and filling voids in concrete structures. Due to its low viscosity, OPU-600 offers excellent penetration into hairline cracks. The product can also be used as a non-shrink, high-strength grout for soil stabilization when applied with sufficient moisture content.

Usage: Avoid use below 15℃; not effective under -10℃. Preheat before use in cold weather, but don’t overheat. Work indoors or use heating to maintain proper temperature. Ensure surfaces are dry and frost-free. Storage: Store at 10–15℃; avoid freezing. Keep away from extreme heat or cold (< -10℃ or > 40℃). Seal tightly to prevent moisture. Check regularly for leaks or condensation. If thickened, warm gently before use. |
