Henkel has strengthened its global innovation and supply chain footprint with the relocation of its Singapore operations to Geneo at Singapore Science Park, creating a next-generation hub designed to better serve customers across Asia-Pacific and international markets.
The new facility brings together multiple strategic capabilities under one roof, including Henkel’s global supply chain hub, digital operations teams, adhesives application engineering laboratories, electronics innovation functions, and consumer brand activities. The integrated setup is designed to accelerate collaboration, shorten development cycles, and deliver faster, more tailored solutions to customers worldwide.
Strengthening Asia-Pacific as a strategic growth engine
The move underscores Henkel’s long-term commitment to Asia-Pacific as a key pillar of its global growth strategy. Singapore’s strong innovation ecosystem, advanced infrastructure, and deep talent pool make it an ideal base for Henkel’s expanding regional and global operations.
According to Henkel leadership, the new Singapore hub will act as a central coordination point where supply chain excellence, digitalisation, and innovation converge—supporting more agile decision-making and faster execution across multiple business units.
Regional electronics innovation and advanced adhesives capabilities
A key highlight of the new hub is the expanded Adhesives Application Engineering Laboratory, which now offers advanced technical support for customers in general manufacturing, maintenance, industrial applications, and electronics.
At the heart of this expansion is the Henkel Southeast Asia Electronic Adhesives Technical Centre, the largest facility of its kind in the region. Serving markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, the centre supports fast-growing segments such as semiconductors, advanced packaging, and consumer electronics.
The upgraded facility provides comprehensive material characterisation and failure analysis, along with the ability to replicate critical customer processes such as dispensing, die attach, lamination, printing, and dicing. This enables more realistic testing environments, faster troubleshooting, and accelerated solution development for regional customers.
Beyond application engineering, the centre is increasingly involved in advanced development projects, working closely with product development teams to bring region-specific solutions to market more efficiently.
